April 26
Sunday closest to the founding date of April 24 (1859)

9:00 AM Old Time Sunday School (Holy Communion at 10:15 AM)

All gathered in the Nave for a Sunday School session with hymns, scripture, and reflections on the Zion (Shaffer's) Sunday School by its leaders.

Those attending received a keepsake plus an additional candy ticket for the Picnic!

August 9
Family Day Picnic in the Picnic Woods

11:00 AM Holy Communion using Vacation Bible School songs.

The Picnic menu will feature many of the foods offered at the Shaffer's Picnic, held on a Saturday in August until the mid 1960's. Menu included chicken corn soup, burgers in sauce, and Carman's ice cream.
